​Jeremy Alan Pierce pleaded guilty and was found guilty of Domestic Violence and Violation of a P/o-Criminal.  Defendant was assessed fines and fees of $1,322.50.   Other Conditions of Sentence:  Defendant is ordered to 60-days of jail with credit of time served for 27-days.  Stay of execution to report to Custer County Jail at 5 p.m. on 4/7/22.  Work release is authorized to work for Westcliffe Petroleum from 8-5 every day except Wednesday and Sunday.  Those days the defendant is to remain in jail.  Fine is imposed.  Restitution is open for 91-days.   Complete UPS.  Court authorizes scram removal.  Sentence runs concurrent with 21CR11 and 21M18.  Defendant has the same terms and conditions that are imposed in those cases for this case.  Supervision fees adjusted for the concurrent time on probation.  
 
Steven Craig Harmon pleaded guilty and was found guilty of Domestic Violence and Disorderly Conduct-Offensive Gesture.  A deferred sentence was imposed.  Defendant was assessed fines and fees of $683.  Other Conditions of Sentence:  No fine is imposed.   Complete domestic violence evaluation, treatment, and requirements of probation.  Comply with all recommendations of probation, including any other evaluations and treatment that probation deems necessary, including Monitored Sobriety.  Complete UPS.
​Bethani Lynne Hazlewood pleaded guilty and was found guilty of Owner Operated Uninsured Vehicle and Driving Under Restraint-Outstanding Judgement.   Defendant was assessed fines and fees of $805.50.  Other Conditions of Sentence:  No fine is imposed.  Proof of insurance is provided.  Second offense, court waives half of fine.

Patricia Rae Marshall was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct-Offensive Gesture and received a deferred sentence.  She was assessed fines and costs of $683.
Other Conditions of Sentence:   No fine is imposed.  Complete domestic violence evaluation, treatment, and requirements of probation.  Comply with all recommendations of probation, including any other evaluations and treatment that probation deems necessary, including Monitored Sobriety.  Complete UPS.

Monday, August 8, 2022
 
0802 Hours:  A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of CR 129.  Troy Baumgardner (59) was issued a penalty assessment for Speeding 61 MPH in a Posted 45 MPH Zone.
 
1629 Hours:  A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 63000 block of Hwy.69.  Travis Reece Leatherman (37) was issued a penalty assessment for Speeding 80 MPH in a Posted 65 MPH Zone.
 
1823 Hours:  A deputy responded to the 43000 block of Hwy. 69 for a single-vehicle rollover accident.  Anthony Carl Chiaramonte (41) was issued a summons for Careless Driving.

0944 Hours:  A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of CR 241.  Mark Jason Handeland (51) was issued a penalty assessment for Speeding 59 MPH in a Posted 40 MPH Zone.
 
1336 Hours:  A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 8000 block of Hwy. 96.  Nathan Ray Collins (30) was issued a penalty assessment for Speeding 65 MPH in a Posted 50 MPH Zone.
 
1406 Hours:  A deputy responded to Bassick Place for a non-injury traffic accident.  Neither driver was cited.
 
Wednesday, August 10, 2022
 
1513 Hours:  Deputies responded to the area of Hermit and Main St. for a mental health emergency.  One person was transported without incident.
 
1614 Hours:  A deputy responded to the 200 block of 6th St. for a neighbor dispute.
 
1929 Hours:  Deputies responded to Duckett Creek Campground for a welfare check.  Nathan Donley (40) was arrested for Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender.

0940 Hours:  A deputy was dispatched to the 1400 block of CR 192 for a trespassing report.  The suspect left and the owner did not wish to press charges.
 
2209 Hours:  A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of 5th St. for a suspicious incident.  This is an ongoing investigation.
 
Friday, August 12, 2022
 
0942 Hours:  A deputy was dispatched to CR 371 for a motor-vehicle theft.   This is an ongoing investigation.
 
1300 Hours:  A deputy responded to Hwy. 165 at CR 360 for a minor motorcycle accident.  No charges.
 
1542 Hours:  A deputy was dispatched to the 6000 block of CR 328 and took a report of a tree that was cut down by a neighbor.  This is an ongoing investigation.
 
1603 Hours:  A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of CR 328.  Chandler Saine (23) was issued a penalty assessment for Speeding 60 MPH in a Posted 45 MPH Zone.
 
1647 Hours:  A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 14000 block of Hwy. 96.  Suzanne Crider (56) was issued a penalty assessment for Speeding 78 MPH in a Posted 65 MPH one.
 
1949 Hours:  A deputy responded to CR 198 at Balman Reservoir for a medical.  The patient was transported via Flight for Life.

0600 Hours:  A deputy responded to the 62000 block of Hwy. 69 for a car versus deer accident.
 
1206 Hours:  A deputy responded to the 200 block of Tanager Trail for an assault.  Justin Andrew Sobel (35) left before deputies could contact him.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.
 
Sunday, August 14, 2022 
 
1045 Hours:  A deputy took a harassment report in the Sheriff’s Office lobby.  This is an ongoing investigation.
