Welcome To The 6th Issue of Volume 2!
Lake DeWeese Closed for All Water Activity Except Fishing for at Least Two More Weeks
Our Wildlife and Parks manager, Justin Krall just reported that the algae bloom has increased from 9.8 to 28.
Very simply, the reservoir will remain closed for at least two more weeks due to the toxic levels.
Fish can still be eaten if the gutting is complete and then the fish and hands are washed with clean water.
Pets and children should be kept out of the water and any skin of an adult that is allowed to come into contact with the water should be washed with fresh, clean water as soon as possible.
