Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,
We’d like to add our voice to those urging a NO vote on the Tom Flower
recall. While Mr. Flower's ethical mistake was a failure to publicly
announce that Cindi Flower is his wife, it is without a doubt that this
recall is unwise, unnecessary, and wasteful. Mr. Flower’s mistake was
admitted, caused no damage, and was cleared with a genuine apology. The
other two commissioners previously engaged in action that caused actual
harm, serious financial repercussions, and were found to be illegal as
such by the law. The cost to the people of this county for that
violation was over $50,000.
Vote NO on the recall. We need Tom Flower to stay and be productive in
his current role.
