Water ’22 Student Showcase
It all starts here, with YOU! This is a call for entries to the Water ’22 Student Showcase, open to all K-12 students, ages 5-19, throughout Colorado. This FREE Student Showcase is designed to help young people connect with the value of water in daily life and the natural and built world around them, encourage critical thinking, and emphasize the crucial role young people will play as future water leaders who can help identify solutions for water sustainability.
Using whichever medium, interest’s you most, we invite you to create a work that reflects a place, thing, or activity you cherish within your watershed, or river basin, connected to water. This place, thing, or activity could be a favorite park, an animal population that lives in the neighborhood, a hobby, a landscape feature, or a local business that is dependent on water, to name a few.
We will accept submissions in English and Spanish. The deadline for submissions is October 1, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.

Kids Yoga Program at Altitude Community Fitness
Kids yoga will be starting July 11th for kids ages 3 - 8 years old
Kids Yoga Program at Altitude Community Fitness
Class will be held from 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays
The first session will be July 11, 15, 18, and 22
The second session will be August 8, 12, 15, and 19
Each four-class session costs $25 for the first child and $15 for each additional child
This is a progressive program consisting of four consecutive 45-minute classes. Using the life cycle of plants (planting the seed, sprouting, growing, blooming, and back to seed) as a
storyline to engage the child.
