Since some County departments have adopted a 4-day work week and some departments maintain a 5-day work week, the County’s Holiday schedule may have changed. See the guide below for the different departments’ holiday schedules:

Christopher Andrew Garcia pleaded guilty and received a deferred sentence for Speeding 20-24 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit. Defendant received fines and costs totaling $253. Other Conditions of Sentence: 12-month deferred sentence. No traffic violations during deferred period. All fines and fees must be paid during deferred period. Court costs are suspended if deferred sentence is completed successfully. Court costs will be incurred if conviction enters.
Phillip Don Shepard pleaded guilty and received a deferred sentence for Speeding 20-24 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit. Defendant was ordered to pay $253 in fines and costs. Other Conditions of Sentence: 12-month deferred sentence. No traffic violations during deferred period. All fines and fees must be paid during deferred period. Madysen Meshelle Paxton pleaded guilty and received a deferred sentence for Speeding 10-19 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit. Defendant was ordered to pay $73.50 in fines and costs. Court costs are suspended if deferred sentence is completed successfully. Court costs will be incurred if conviction enters. Paul Lorenzo Cruzen pleaded guilty and was found guilty of Speeding 10-19 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit. Defendant was ordered to pay $172 in fines and costs. Other Conditions of Sentence: 12-month deferred sentence. No traffic violations during deferred period. All fines and fees must be paid during deferred period. Court costs are suspended if deferred sentence is completed successfully. Court costs will be incurred if conviction enters. |
Jules Marie pleaded guilty and received a deferred sentence for Speeding 20-24 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit. She was ordered to pay $253 in fines and costs. Other Conditions of Sentence: Deferred sentence for one-year.
Chad David Weimer pleaded guilty and was found guilty of Driving Under Restraint and Passed on Left in Unsafe Manner. He was ordered to pay $253.50 in fines and costs. Nathan L. Wornell was found guilty of Fail to Yield Right-of-Way/Stop Sign. He received $142.50 in fines and costs. Jon W. Boughton pleaded guilty and was found guilty of Driver’s License Permit Unauth Minor/DR. He was ordered to pay $74.50 in fines and costs. Cory M. Priester pleaded guilty and received a deferred sentence for Speeding 25 mph OR More Over the Posted Speed Limit. He was ordered to pay $78 in fines and costs. Other Conditions of Sentence: 12-month deferred sentence. No traffic violations during deferred period. All fines and fees must be paid during deferred period. Court costs are suspended if deferred sentence is completed successfully. Court costs will be incurred if conviction enters. Madison G. Barwick pleaded guilty and received a deferred sentence for Careless Driving. She was ordered to pay $62.50 in fines and costs. Other Conditions of Sentence: 12-month deferred sentence. No traffic violations during deferred period. All fines and fees must be paid during deferred period. Court costs are suspended if deferred sentence is completed successfully. Court costs will be incurred if conviction enters. John C. Shore pleaded guilty and was found guilty of Unsafe or Defective Vehicle. He was ordered to pay $99.50 in fines and fees. |
Volunteers Needed to Honor Veterans Who Have Passed
To our Community:
The American Legion, Post 170 is hosting Wreaths Across America, honoring our fallen Veterans on December 17 by placing wreaths on all Veteran Graves in our area.
There are 5 Cemeteries and a total of 336 Veteran Graves. This is a community event and are looking to have every able-bodied member volunteer to assist in placing wreaths.
The protocol is to place a wreath at a Veterans grave, say their name, and salute them.

22-0710: A deputy issued a summons for No Proof of Insurance and a warning for Defective Trailer Lights to Cloud Spitzfaden on Main Street in Westcliffe.
22-0709: A deputy responded to a neighbor dispute on Ernest Ave, no enforcement action was taken.
22-0708: A deputy investigated a minor traffic crash at Highway 69 on Centennial Ranch Rd.
22-0705: A deputy took a report of harassment.

22-0707: A deputy investigated a minor traffic crash in the parking lot at 1101 Butler St.
22-0712: A deputy arrested Jeffrey Paul Gunter for DUI after stopping his vehicle for lane violations on Highway 69 near Hermit Lane. His license was suspended for 12- months for refusal to submit a chemical sample and an additional requirement of 24. months of having an interlock installed on his vehicles.

22-0713: A deputy responded to CR 130 for a complaint about a violation of a civil protection order. The protected party did not want to press charges.
