Zeller Endorses Canda for BOCC
Citizens of Custer County,
I strongly encourage you to vote for County Commissioner Bill Canda in the upcoming election. Let me tell you why.
Bill is a proven leader with over forty years of experience. He is a retired Air Force Colonel. A Colonel is like a senior business executive with responsibility for over 3,000 to 5,000 employees. A Colonel is not an appointed or inherited rank, it is earned by twenty-plus years of proven leadership. Along with his years of aerospace defense contracting, Bill dealt with the security of our nation and our lives. Although this proven leadership is very significant, this is not why I'm voting for Bill. Bill also holds strongly to sound political principles. He believes in the rule of law and the Constitution. His understanding of the role of the free citizen, personal responsibility, and financial accountability, make him a superior county commissioner. While this is important, this is not why I'm voting for Bill.
I am voting for Bill for a more serious reason. As you probably know, the United States is in the midst of a culture war. On one side of the fight are those who hold to freedom, truth, and life. On the other side are those who promote socialism, delusion, and death. At risk are the thoughts and souls of generations to come, along with the destruction of the United States as it was intended to be by its founders.
Because of this culture war, voting in an election has become a moral issue. The voter must do what they can to know the candidates. A candidate may look good or may have some visible flaws, but what is paramount is the world view the candidate holds to inside. You must know and evaluate the candidates to know which side of the battle line they stand on.
I know that Bill is on the side of freedom, truth, and life and that is why I'm voting for him and ask you to also.
