Six-Day Local Forecast

Picture
A low pressure system moving in from the west, pushed a cold front through our area on Sunday and
brought wind and clouds, but no needed precipitation. An upper-level, high- pressure ridge will
dominate the West Coast and force dry, cool Canadian air through our area. We will therefore continue
to see occasional dry cold fronts that may bring a few clouds with breezy conditions, with little to no
precipitation. Unfortunately, this pattern will continue to bring elevated fire weather conditions. At
this time, I'm not seeing any significant change in the weather pattern and it looks like we'll experience
continued, dry conditions in the foreseeable future.  - by USAF Capt. (Ret.) Ted Ballard
