Six-Day Local Forecast
A southern split in the jet stream will bring a pattern of upper- level, low- pressure systems just to our
south, causing upslope conditions and unsettled weather. The first part of the week, we'll see partly to
mostly cloudy skies with afternoon and evening rain showers with maybe a little snow and graupel
(snow pellets) mixed in. After a slight mid- week break, a cold front will move through late Thursday
into Friday and bring another shot of rain/snow mix. The weather looks to get warmer and drier for
next weekend. - by USAF Capt. (Ret.) Ted Ballard
