Breanna Renee Gasper pleaded and was found guilty of speeding 10-19 mph over the posted speed limit.  She received a deferred sentence and was ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $198.50.   
 
Peter Jeffs was found guilty of speeding 10-19 mph over the posted speed limit.  He was ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $263.50.   
 
David James Porter, Jr. was found guilty of speeding 10-19 mph over the posted speed limit.  He was ordered to pay fines and fees totaling $263.50. 
 
Daniel J Satiago was found guilty of not wearing a seatbelt. He was ordered to pay $163.50. 
 
 Jessica Ann Vickers was found guilty of  speeding 10-19 mph over the posted speed limit.   He was assessed fees totaling $263.50. 
 
Sherri L Colg pleaded not guilty and was found guilty of not wearing a seat belt.  She was ordered to pay $98.50 in fines and costs. 
Cheryl Lynn Griego pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. The other charges were entered as not guilty.  He was assessed fees totaling $2,019.50.  This sentence will run concurrent with case number 19CR6 in District Court, Custer County.  Other conditions of sentence: fine suspended upon successful completion of probation.  Mental health eval is ordered.  Restitution open for 91 days.  No alcohol.  No controlled substances w/out a valid RX.  No criminal offenses.  Pay all costs.  Comply with recommendations of probation and complete level II education and Track D therapy required.  Monitored sobriety at the discretion of probation.  Complete UPS.  Serve on one MADD Victim Impact Panel.  Probation to be transferred to Huerfano County. 
 
Sarah Nicole Smith pleaded guilty and was found guilty of failing to drive in a single lane and driving while ability impaired. She was ordered to pay $597.50 in fines and fees.  The case is concurrent with case number 19CR54 in District Court.  Other conditions of her sentence:  No fine was imposed on count two.  Jail suspended upon successful completion of alcohol eval. and treatment requirements.  Fine suspended upon successful completion of probation sentence.  Restitution open for 91 days.  No alcohol.  No controlled substances without a valid RX.  Pay all costs.  Comply with standard terms and conditions and any recommendations of probation and complete level education required.  Complete UPS.  Runs concurrent with 19CR54.

 7 males were housed in the Custer County Jail. 
 
0900 hours:  Deputies received a report of horses running loose at Schoolfield and Highway 69. Deputies were able to secure the horses and contact the owners.   
 
1103 hours:  Deputies were dispatched to Lowe’s Supermarket for a hit- and- run accident.  Paul Montgomery was issued a careless driving summons.  
 
There were three additional traffic stops.

 2142 hours:  Deputies arrested Bryan Moylan of Colorado Springs for driving under the influence, weaving and speeding. Location of 700 block Main St. Westcliffe.

1115 hours:  Deputies responded to 2548 C.R. 243 on a reported open door. Deputies cleared the residence and wrote a report. It is unknown if anything was missing.  
 
 2016 hours:  Deputies issued a citation to Katherine Layman of Westcliffe for speeding 10-19 over posted limit. Location was C.R. 140

1557 hours:  Deputies responded to 12248 C.R. 255 on a report of a burglary in progress. Corrina Rochelle Martinez of La Junta was arrested for Burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, solicitation of prostitution, and aggravated motor vehicle theft. She is being held in Fremont County Jail.

 1634 Hours:  Deputy responded to 16- mile marker of Highway 96 for a slide off 1.27.20 20-0071  
 
1853 hours: Deputy took a report of a theft at 12100 C.R. 360. Theft of a generator and an ATV. Investigation is ongoing
